Are you ready to get your Irish on, in time for St. Paddy's Day this year? Feel the confidence of sitting in at a Celtic pub jam and cranking out some fine "chunes," knowing you don't sound like a right tosser!
From Paris to New Orleans, Ottawa, and even Shanghai, Bronwen has performed and jammed in Irish pubs around the world, with incredible authentic players, where the language may be different but the tunes, fiddle style, and Irish whiskeys are the same! Now she will share all that she has learned so you can sit in at any Irish session or jam and really enjoy it!
In this totally comprehensive weekend course we will cover how to play the ornaments that make every tune sound truly authentic, the internal rhythms that give your tunes real "crack," (not THAT kind of crack. Gosh!) and much more. The last day we will learn to put it all together in a jamming scenario.
"Get Your Irish On," is geared toward intermediate and advanced players, but beginners are welcome and will get a lot of takeaways as well.
